Bladetech Tek-Lok Mounting System
Every now and then someone notices the bladetech attachments I have on my competition shooting belts and asks what they are so I wanted to do a short video on these things. It isn’t the most exciting topic but these things are worthy of honorable mention so here we go.
A Universal Mounting System
The bladetech tek locking system is a way to secure just about anything to your belt very securely. It features a grid pattern so that you can pretty much screw anytype of holster or accessory to the teklok system. Then the unique locking system can lock onto a variety of competitive shooting belts on the market.
I used to run this on my older biachi shooting belt, but the included adapters let me run these on my newer competition belt from Kore which I’ll be doing a video on in the next couple weeks. The kore belt isn’t as wide, which is a good thing for comfort, but the blade tech hardware is adjustable allowing for support of every major belt size.
Bladetech Tek-Lok Platform
The Bladetech Tek-Lok platform is great for mounting any competition accessories and gear to your competition shooting belt. Perfect for USPSA or IPSC style belt setups.
Tek-Lok is perfect for mounting holsters or mag carriers
I use these with both my Safariland holster to secure the QLS Fork as well as with my mag carriers. The tek-lok system guarantees that these accessories will stay in the exact spot I expect them to be in while running around and shooting in a match.
The Tek-Lok system can be used to for knife sheaths as well
Because of the grid style attachment pattern, it is extremely versatile for mounting just about anything in any direction. I haven’t used it for this purpose but it seems to be a popular choice with knife guys based on amazon reviews.
Tek-Lok hardware is very affordable
Each clip will set you back about $10, unless you buy a bulk pack which cost averages a bit cheaper. If you want it with mounting hardware, it costs a little bit more as well.
Conclusion
But if you’re looking for a secure platform to fix any kind of holster to your belt, this is really hard to beat and it’s a really good option to consider.
I hope this short video was helpful to you, I’ll be reviewing this Kore belt in a couple weeks so subscribe to the channel if that interests you. Have a great day.
